How Your Support Is Used

Donations support the institute’s research and education. Expenditure is reported to the general assembly, and research outcomes are shared with our supporters.

Source-based Research and Publications

We examine questions in Korean history, from ancient to modern times, through primary sources and archaeological findings, and publish our results in papers and books.

Public History Education

Through lectures, field trips and the Korean History Understanding Test, we share research in language that is accessible to the public.

Addressing Historical Distortions

We examine narratives associated with China’s Northeast Project and colonial historiography against historical sources, and document evidence-based responses.
